Vladimir Babiuc is Waterfield Technologies’ global financial leader responsible for our finance, accounting, legal, and human resources functions. His team is also responsible for overseeing our treasury and investor relations as well as supporting our corporate development and growth.

Vlad brings over a decade of financial and strategic planning experience to the Waterfield team with a specialization in value creation and identification of growth opportunities across channels. Prior to joining Waterfield Technologies, Vlad held the position of Director of Financial and Strategic Planning with Edelman Financial Engines, a leading independent financial advisory firm.

Vlad started his career advising companies on mergers and acquisitions at Presidio Group and later at Sawaya Partners, before investing private equity at Dubin Clark, totaling over $1.5B of closed transaction value. He also served on the board of directors for several privately held companies in the manufacturing industry.

Vlad holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Bentley University and is fluent in both Romanian and Russian. As a Junior Olympian, he won two pistol shooting gold medals, ~30 other medals at various competitions, and set two national records. In his spare time, Vlad continues to be a pistol shooting enthusiast, dabbles in securities and real estate investing, and is a novice golfer.
